Most practice is just conversation in your AI. It also opens interactive review rounds, served from your spaced-repetition queue — tap the card:

Learn by conversation

You practise by actually using Korean in chat, not by tapping through cards. The coach adapts to your level: it builds example sentences only from words you already know, plus the one it's currently teaching, so you're stretched but never lost. It catches your mistakes, explains them, and nudges you a little further each turn — and it works all four skills, reading, writing, listening and speaking, not just spotting words on a card.

It knows every word you know

Every word you practise joins a personal deck. The coach tracks how well you know each one — a mastery score from 0 to 5, kept separately per skill — when you last saw it, and when it's due again. Nothing to set up: a quick placement tells it roughly where you start, and the picture grows from there, conversation after conversation.

The right word, right on time

Reviews are scheduled by a spaced-repetition algorithm, so each word comes back just before you'd forget it; the overdue ones come first. And new words aren't random — they arrive in real-world frequency order, drawn from a large Korean corpus, so your effort always lands on the words you're most likely to meet next.

Memory fades, then each review restores it — and the next can wait longer.

When you want structure

Scored drills & flip-card rounds

Beyond free conversation, you can run focused, measurable rounds. Structured drills come in three formats — cloze (fill in the blank), multiple-choice, and translation — built over exactly the words your reviews say need work, each one scored and folded back into your progress. Or open a quick flip-card round, like the one above, for fast recognition practice.

Fill the blank — 저는 매일 커피를 ____.

Picks up where you left off

Remembers you between sessions

The coach keeps durable notes about you — your native language, your goals, the topics you care about, the pace you like — so it never restarts cold. Come back a week later and it already knows what you're working toward and where you were struggling.

What it remembers about you
  • Native language: English
  • Goal: order food and chat on a trip to Seoul
  • Into football and cooking — it uses them in examples
  • Prefers short, single-sentence drills
