Language Coach

Practise any language by talking. A coach that tracks every word you know and feeds you the next most useful one, with spaced-repetition reviews, scored drills, and flip-card rounds — all from inside your AI client.

Claude (claude.ai, Desktop, mobile)

1. Open claude.ai → Settings → Connectors (on the web; the Desktop and mobile apps then have it too)
2. Click “Add custom connector”
3. Paste https://language-coach.poietic.studio/mcp
4. Add, then sign in with Google when prompted

Claude can't add a connector from inside a chat.

ChatGPT

1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode
2. Back in Apps & Connectors, click Create
3. Name it Language Coach, paste https://language-coach.poietic.studio/mcp, choose OAuth
4. Create, then sign in with Google when prompted; in a chat, enable it from the Developer mode tool in the composer

On Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu; a workspace admin may have to allow custom connectors first. Not on the Free plan.

Perplexity

1. Open Settings → Connectors and click “+ Custom connector”, then Remote

3. Authentication: OAuth; transport: Streamable HTTP

About those approval prompts

The first time the coach uses one of its tools, your AI client will ask you to approve it — reading your practice queue, opening a flashcard round, saving a result. That's your client checking with you, not the coach asking for anything extra. There are a handful of tools and they're each asked about once; approving them for the session (or always, if your client offers it) gets you a conversation that flows instead of one that stops to ask.
